Canalization and road

The Works can be described in two main distinct sections: canalization and road. The section object of the Project runs from the future “Vía Parque” up to the Juncaret and Orgegia torrents. The common section of these two ravines has a length of 1.000 mt.

Section description

The shape adopted in the common section, from the Via Parque up to the confluence of both ravines, is 3,4meters long with breakwaters, 90 cm thick on both sides. In the not common sections, both for the Orgegia and Juncaret, the section is rectangular, with crossbeams of the same type, or breakwater 90 cm thick. With walls of stone of breakwater supported on continuous foundation of reinforced concrete, protected by a geotextile to avoid the loss of thin materials.

Common section

In its common section, roads had been realized on both margins of the canalization, with two tracks on each band, they also arranged walk zones, with sidewalks and landscaped zones. It was a projected illumination for pedestrians. All the roads have illumination systems of all lengths. 4m wide service lanes were designed in those sections where they do not exist.
