EPSAR

In 2010, the public entity EPSAR started a restructuring’s study concerning several facilities of wastewater treatment in the province of Valencia, more specifically in the municipalities of Gaverda, Rafelguaraf, Sant Joanet and Senyera. For each action, an Environmental Impact Study was realized, to evaluate the possible environmental affections that these implantations would produce on the environment.

Location

The four projects that were studied are located in a rural environment or in the suburbs, where any natural areas are threatened, the interventions are mainly realized in non urbanized areas. Concerning the WWTP of Gavarda, the project concerned the renovation of an existing building, but for the others, everything was new.

Project studies

The studies included investigations regarding the situation and the consequences on the cultural heritage, which included the accomplishment of an archaeological exploration in every study.
