This work consists of technical assistance to the management (Inspection) of the works "CONSTRUCCIÓN DE
THE CAPTATION OF MAGUAZO-ALAO; RAW WATER CONDUCTION, MOLO BOG TREATMENT PLANT, ADUCTION OF TREATED WATER TO THE RESERVES AND RESERVES OF SAN MARTÍN DE VERANILLO, FOR
THE CITY OF RIOBAMBA PROVINCE OF CHIMBORAZO RIOBAMBA ".

The project collects water from river Maguazo

The project is presented as a double alternative that would capture the waters of the Maguazo River, to lead them by gravity to the plant in the Molobog sector and, in the dry period, the waters turbined by
pumping, from Central Alao, using the same pipeline in the lower section to the plant in Molobog. From
In this way, the project allows the capture of the flow to provide service during the two stages in which it has been
divided the supply to the city.

The project is composed by various parts

This condition requires that the project be made up of the following main components: catchment in the river
Maguazo, desander, raw water conduction from the desander to the treatment plant in Molobog,
Turbine water pumping station from the Alao hydroelectric power station to treatment in Molobog, treatment
in Molobog, conduction of treated water from the plant in Molobog to the San Martín de Veranillo and Pis cín reserves.
