Contest of Merits No. IDU- CMASGI-034-2013, in accordance with the studies and previous documents prepared for this contract by the General Infrastructure Subdirectorate, based on the information provided by the Technical Directorate of Designs, carry out the Study Consultancy of Environmental Impact, for the construction and operation of the first line of the Bogotá metro, of the stations, patios and workshops, within the framework of the System
Integrated Public Transport -SITP- for the city of Bogotá ", according to the description, specifications and
other conditions established in the Terms and Conditions

SCOPE OF THE OBJECT

• The EA is an instrument for making decisions about projects, works or activities
based on which the corresponding prevention, correction, compensation and mitigation measures of
the environmental and occupational health and safety impacts that the project will generate. In this sense, the scope involves:
• Rationalization in the use of natural resources, minimizing negative environmental risks and impacts,
that the future project may cause and enhance the positive impacts. The definition of different programs,
project works or activities. The collection of primary and secondary information from the different methods and techniques of each of the disciplines necessary to fulfill the objectives of the consulting contract.

Other objectives of the project

Dimension and evaluate qualitatively and quantitatively the impacts produced by the project in such a way that
establish the degree of affectation and vulnerability of the ecosystems, the existing risks and the archaeological finds. Express clearly the impacts on which there is still a level of uncertainty. Propose solutions for each and every one of the identified impacts, establishing the set of strategies, plans and programs in the Environmental Management Plan (EMP). The latter must be formulated at design level, and therefore will include justification, objectives, scope, technologies to be used, results to be achieved, follow-up and monitoring indicators (qualitative and quantitative), costs and investment and execution schedules.
