The aim of the present work is to define the preliminary Master Plan for the execution of hotel and residential complex in the area of Bávaro Lagune in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
The area concerned consists of a number of plots located in two big sectors. The first one is in the west of Laguna Bavaro, adjacent to the beach from the north. The second sector is situated in the stripe between east side of the lagoon and the beach. Both sectors are connected with a narrow coast stripe that forms a cape in the west that separates the east side of open coast from the small gulf with a smooth tract. Other plots are located in one side of the lagoon in the surrounding landscape reserve.
Preliminary Master Plan
The Preliminary Master Plan includes the following residential and entertainment use:
• Resort Hotel: three plots destined for three hotels with 500 rooms each one, together with the corresponding services.
Beach houses, in plots of 1.500 m2 each one.
• 18 holes Golf Course and Club House, training field and putting green.
• Apartments adjacent to the golf course.
• Beach Club, commercial and entertainment zone.
The total surface of the sector occupies over 5 million square meters
