The proposed layout

The action is developed in an non urbanized area. The total layout, of approximately 82 Km, passes along the province of Castellón, north to south.
The proposed layout does not concern any natural protected area, and the identified impacts are the typical ones related to an intervention of this scale, but the importance of the Project motivated the accomplishment of detailed studies to know the possible affections, studies of vegetation, fauna, landscape, noise, socioeconomic, etc.

Environmental impacts

The principal impacts produced by this infrastructure will be those that take place during the phase of exploitation, the barrier effect and the impact on the landscape. These impacts are those that have needed a major effort in the chapter of design to measure and minimize these negative effects.

Environmental studies

The study included a noise assessment and environmental vibrations, a study of affection to the cultural Heritage and a vegetation and fauna study.
