Responsibilities
We are looking for Intern to join our Marketing team within COSMOSIVICSA in Valencia.
Role
• Assist the Commercial Manager and Project Manager in implementation of project specific cost control processes to ensure project profitability and other commercial goals are met
• Assist in budget estimation and resource planning
• Assist in preparation of a WBS, to include understanding how schedule is integrated with WBS and budgets
• Utilize the financial system to monitor financial performance, project costs and other performance parameters.
• Assist in preparing and updating project schedules, using scheduling software such as Primaeval P6.
• Track actual against budgets, conduct variance analyses, carry out reporting of project financial and respond to queries from project teams on performance issues.
• Assist in monitoring and managing scope changes; maintaining change and risk registers, preparing fee proposals and contract change orders.
• Assist in preparation and issuing of monthly client invoices and monitoring accounts receivable
• Assist in collection, collation and review of time sheets of project team members
• Assist in preparation of various monthly client reports.
• Assist with commercial management of subs including preparation of sub agreements, tracking costs, and reviewing invoices and payments
The Qualified professional will have
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in engineering design or construction industries.
• Experience in preparing schedules using Primavera P6 desirable.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, data manipulation and spreadsheet design to communicate results.
• Experience in PowerBI for report preparation desirable
• General knowledge of commercial management and experience in contractual matters preferred
• Ability to prioritize effectively and manage deadlines; highly organized.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working.
• Proactive; a team player but able to perform independently.
• Design-Build and experience of working with or for major Contractors preferred.
